CARIB CHEF MAYRA, Taste of The Caribbean is a sampling of cross-cultural insight and recipes. From the sad past of the Caribbean slave trade emerges a delicious cuisine that is unique to the region and as inviting as the people's smiles.

Founded in 2000 by Mayra, a personal Carib Chef in Las Vegas with 8 years of industry experience.

I've worked with many chefs, all with different cultural influences, such as French, Caribbean, Southern, Southwest, Cajun, West African and American, In each kitchen, I dedicated myself to learning as much as I could and to understanding the unique elements of each culturally-distinctive cuisine. My goal is to highlight the best of the best of these taste elements with my own distinct personal touches, all presented with a fun flair!
